The technology can be applied to any starting antibody (e.g., mouse, rabbit, human, phage display, etc.) that requires optimization (e.g., too low affinity, highly immunogenic, poor formulatability, etc.) to become a human therapeutic. The typical starting affinity of the antibody to be Humaneered&trade is between the therapeutically relevant range of 10nM - 0.1nM for the full length IgG; however antibodies with higher or lower affinity can be used. Engineered antibodies with higher affinity than the starting antibody can be expected.
