Analysis of Human Antibodies
Panels of clones are analyzed for affinity and sequence identity. The following table shows the affinities (as determined by BiaCore) of 5 Humaneered™ antibodies as compared to their starting murine antibody counterpart.
Sequence analysis of Humaneered™ V-regions reveals very close sequence identity to human germline. Each column shows the percent sequence identity to human germline v-regions (excluding CDR3s). CDR-grafted antibodies fall within the range of 82-86% identical to human germline. Humira, the only fully human antibody on the market is 92% identical to human germline.
